Online bookings are now close but General Camping tickets (R 600 p.p. cash only) will still be available at the gate.
Want to know how much to budget for drinks at the festival? A 2M or Laurentina beer will cost you R15 while a double R&R with local rum will cost you R24. Detailed bar prices can be downloaded from http://www.forr.co.za/Barprices.pdf

If you are travelling from Gauteng to Malongane please remember that there are a lot of stop and go’s between Piet Retief and Pongola. We are receiving reports that some people took between 2 and 3 hours to travel that portion of the road that normally takes only 1 hour.
Please plan for the extra travelling time especially if you are taking a border pickup to Malongane and remember the border closes at 17h00.

With only 17 days to go until the start of FORR 2009 time is running out fast for those of you who have not booked yet. There is still plenty of space available and bookings can be made online at http://www.forr.co.za/Bookings. Online bookings will close on Friday 28 August but there will be tickets available at the gate.
More than 20 acts will perform during the weekend. We will start on Wednesday night with a beach party for those who have arrived early. Piet Botha & Johnathan Martin will officially open the festival on Thursday afternoon at the new White stage located in the middle of the resort while the music on the Green stage will start at 18h00. Friday and Saturday will again see acoustic acts on the White stage in the afternoons while the Green stage will host the bands in the evenings.
On Sunday a music workshop will be held for aspiring local musicians followed by some of the bands playing an open concert in the local shebeens. This experience will surely be one not to be missed.
